Ronald Reagan and Milton Freidman dismantle the perfect Marxist socialist front group of socialized medicine.

"Back in 1927, an American socialist Norman Thomas a six time candidate for the socialist party ticket, said the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism, the American people would adopt every fragment of the socialist program." President Reagan.

From the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign against Socialized Medicine as proposed by the Democrats, then a private citizen Ronald Reagan Speaks out against socialized medicine. There is no video because this was an LP sent out by the American Medical Association ." Via Wyatt Macintyre. And PJTV's Bill Whittle on same.

"Capitalism does NOT redistribute wealth it creates it - money is merely the means to keep track of it."

Colonel Neville: The trouble with government healthcare is that there is no health in it and the government doesn’t care.

In fact, take out the phrase healthcare and you are left with government and that's ALL government healthcare is. More governemnt. It doesn't create a single Doctor, advancement or service. Just more government between you and your health, life and rather mor unpleasant death.

Hey, but if you enoy dealing with Social Security, the tax office, public transport, motor vehicles registry and any other government entity and politicians etc, then you'll LOVE government healthcare, especially as the private sector healthcare inevitably collapses to the level of only for the rich.

One should only join Obamacare et al, right after Michelle Obama and her kids do.

Yep, Ronald Reagan was and is empirically correct. Of course that's not counting the other myriad leftist collectivist control freak big government fronts for the "march through the institutions" like gee, envirofascism, the MSM, education, Hollywood, entertainment and venal, stupid and affluent celebrity in general whom we all love unconditionally of course. I know I do.

Most every pop and movie star is apparently some kind of kindly socialist underneath the masses of cash and syncophantic assistant flunkies.

The famous perfect their "for the people" posturing while sucking up cocaine and rented genitalia poolside in Bel Air, Long Island, the South of France and San Remo etc.

Here's the great Milton Freidman on the crap, fraud, doom and oxymoron of socialised medicine.

And Milt on the economic logical fallacy of left liberal socialism.

Again, Milton explains the harsh road to socialism Pt 1 of 2.

Milton Freidman squashes the laughable MSM mediocrity of Donohue regards the real freedom that comes ONLY from capitalism.

Now let's digress ever so slightly if at all on the way to our harsh illumination.

Obama and his radical Marxist Socialist Leftard alliances and pals:

“Michael Klonsky (born 1943) is an American educator and political activist, a leader of the New Communist Movement. Michael Klonsky, whose disgust for mainstream politics led him to launch a new, Maoist Communist Party in the 1970s, today supports Barack Obama so enthusiastically that until recently he was blogging on the Illinois senator’s Official campaign website.
“My own support for Obama is not a reflection of a radically changed attitude toward the Democratic Party, rather, it’s a recognition that the Obama campaign has become a rallying point for young activists and offers hope for rebuilding the civil rights and antiwar coalitions that have potential to become a real critical force in society.” Michael Klonsky.
Michael Klonsky is the former leader of SDS - Students for a Democratic Society.”

Colonel Neville: Again, for those who may not know, [how and why I don't know though I do] the SDS later sprouted and became Bill Ayers Weathermen. In the mid 1990's as we all know, Obama launched his official political career in the loungeroom of the Marxist lecturer/scumbag/parasite Bill Ayers. [Obama trained in the Saul Alinsky Method and taught it. Alinsky's book is called Rules For Radicals.]

I plan to launch mine from Hitler's bunker cos you know, what does it matter? Exactly nothing if you campaign as a left liberal Democrat. In fact it's a bonus! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...No.

Nope, no matter what shocking fact you present to an Obamessiah lover, any Barry Crime is merely always proof of how evil the non-lovers of Hussein Barack are ie: conservatives or hell, people who were even liberals until three seconds ago when they recklessly and foolishly asked a relevant question about The One: the one you love.

'..taxes will increase by 1.2 trillion', says Ron. If only he knew that the Obamessiah would only just BEGIN to tax Americans at $3.7 trillion plus interest, taking it up to about 9 to 17 trillion. Bush Snr. was ENTIRELY WRONG. Reagan was elected and ushered in almost three decades of the greatest growth ever due to tax cuts and less government but sadly, not limited enough.

Diana West on Obamacare:

Comment: “The 'First Step' in Socialism, take control of financial systems and devalue the currency by taxation, borrowing, spending and printing worthless money. A Marxist/Socialist totalitarian Government with Barack Obama as ‘Supreme Leader’ is the goal.

The only ones NOT recognizing this appear to be most Americans.

"Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he and Cuban ally Fidel Castro risk being more conservative than U.S. President Barack Obama as Washington prepares to take control of General Motors Corp. During one of Chavez's customary lectures on the "curse" of capitalism and the bonanzas of socialism, the Venezuelan leader made reference to GM's bankruptcy filing....

"Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors.”

"There is no doubt in my mind that as a member of the Black Community I am obligated to this community and will utilize all my present and future resources to benefit the Black Community first and foremost." Michelle Robinson from her Princeton Thesis. Now Michelle Obama “the half-back in heels.”
“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you.” Vice President Joe Biden mistakes being dumber than dog hair for proof of intellect. Colonel Neville.

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set," he said. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded." Barack Obamessiah Speech July 2, 2008 Colorado Springs CO.

Comment: "A new Quinnipiac poll shows the president's approval ratings from Ohio voters has dropped from 62 percent in May to 49 percent this month, making it the first state where President Obama's job approval has dipped below 50 percent."
Comment: “Pravda proved people will believe what they read. Not that they read much today, but voices get into their heads. These voices confound plain speech. To this man, Jeb Bush the deeds do not define Obama as a socialist, as the word socialist was born to describe those deeds.

Everyone gets to define what words mean today thanks to politicians.

Who not only aide Obama to destroy the Separation of Powers, but invent new ways to describe it. "Socialism is pejorative in America," Bush explained. "So people stop listening. People are tired of it. That word won't stick. It's a turnoff. It doesn't help."

Tired of it? How does one do that? Can he get tired of the words Liberty and Truth? Obviously he has.”

Ron on basic truths, values and facts. All now so very gauche and unfashionable among the decadent, suicidal and nihilist.

Comment: “What and Where is the Barack Obama plan? Can Liberals Explain to the Rest of us?

Can you Liberals show the rest of us, the Barack Obama plan to 'Solve' the economic crisis? Where is the plan? Please post a link that shows the basic outline of the Barack Obama plan? The plan should show the basic problems the Barack Obama plan wants to solve and then the 'Specific Solutions' that would 'Solve' those specific problems. I cannot seem to find anything except that Barack Obama is in charge and things will be better now.

That doesn't seem to be very specific. What and where is the Barack Obama plan?”

Obama is all about Reward and Punishment.

Retired Geek: “Barack Obama displays the same characteristics of all Despotic leaders before him, malignant narcissism, total self absorption, lack of empathy for anyone but himself, aggressiveness towards anyone who questions him or opposes his views and a dependence on words rather than real solutions.

Barack Obama does NOT possess the intellect of a Lenin or Marx, but does have ’Cunning’ that substitutes for intellect in his case.

Obama has repeatedly shown his bias against ‘Success’ and his intentions of investing in failure.

Obama is personally ashamed of America and spends a great deal of time and energy apologizing for America rather than sing its praises.

Bowing to a King who represents Islam Jihad, was only a sub-conscious reflex of his personal inner feelings, as was the labeling of those who believe in the Bible and personal defense, whom he described as ‘Bitter Clingers’.

Joining a Church that taught and preached 'God Damn America', that taught and preached 'Black Separatism', having his wedding performed there, his children baptized there, choosing that Pastor as his 'Personal Mentor' and 'spiritual guide' and sounding board - belies any attempt with words to conceal his true feelings.

Barack Obama's quest for ObamaCare is NOT about 'Fairness' or 'Compassion' for others, but about his concept of 'Reward and Punishment'.

Barack Obama wants to reward 'Illegal Aliens' and those who choose NOT to work but rather live by ObamaFare and punish those who oppose him by making them work to pay for ObamaCare.

In reality, every action and decision Barack Obama makes is all about Barack Obama, his undisclosed personal agenda and his desire and need to punish those who oppose him or his agenda or even his thoughts.

Townhall on Obama's war for socialism:

Lon: “You have absolutely NO CLUE do you? Taxes ARE definitely THEFT in the highest degree. Because the government is the only one with the power to FORCE the payment of taxes. The fact is the government is acting like Robinhood, stealing from the rich and giving it to the poor. Further both Bush and Obama spent the money UNCONSTITUTIONALLY - not even real money but just printed more money thus devaluing money.

You are also wrong about capitalism because it does what the government can not do - create wealth! Capitalism does NOT redistribute wealth it creates it - money is merely the means to keep track of it. Goods and services are traded for these markers - resulting in the accumulation of wealth which only has value based on what it can buy in the future from those who WORK to provide more goods and services.”

Diana West on the Socialist Old/New Wave of the Obamessiah:

“If it comes in time, the realization that the nation dodged history's bullet will produce massive waves of relief. If it comes too late, the understanding of our fallen state will live on as the lost lore, not of a subject people exactly, but of a self-subjected people. That's because in this strange historical instance, the American people, beginning with but not limited to those of us who voted Barack Obama into the White House, seem to have agreed to shoulder the heavy, costly yoke of exponentially increasing government control of our lives.

With a rubberstamp Democratic Congress, it is the Obama White House that calls the shots, and it doesn't let dissenters forget it. As much as anything else this week, what cast me into this particular abyss of speculation was the stunning news that after Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., declared the Obama administration's stimulus spending plan ineffective and urged a halt to further stimulus spending, the White House dispatched four Cabinet secretaries -- Transportation's Ray LaHood, Agriculture's Tom Vilsack, Housing and Urban Development's Shaun Donovan, Interior's Ken Salazar -- to write letters to Republican Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer enumerating every dime of federal monies that would no longer flow to her state if Sen. Kyl had his way.

As LaHood snarkily put it to Gov. Brewer, "If you prefer to forfeit the money we are making available to your state, as Senator Kyl suggests, please let me know."

What did the White House expect the governor to do next? Make Sen. Kyl an offer he couldn't refuse? Or, as Mark Steyn, detecting the whiff of extortion in the air, asked: "Why not just break his (Kyl's) legs in the Senate parking lot?"

Via hotair on a government healthcare plan you should know ie: the American Indian:

“..I have written extensively on the two existing government-run health-care systems and their myriad problems: Medicare/Medicaid and the VA. It seems I missed a third that may be worse than either or perhaps both combined. Mary Clare Jalonick of the Associated Press provides an eye-opening report on Indian Health Service, a single-payer system that rations care to Native Americans on reservations across the country — and kills them through neglect and a severe lack of resources:"

Indian careless giver.
“BY MARY CLARE JALONICK, Associated Press Writer – Mon Jun 15, 8:56 am ET CROW AGENCY, Mont. – Ta'Shon Rain Little Light, a happy little girl who loved to dance and dress up in traditional American Indian clothes, had stopped eating and walking. She complained constantly to her mother that her stomach hurt.

When Stephanie Little Light took her daughter to the Indian Health Service clinic in this wind-swept and remote corner of Montana, they told her the 5-year-old was depressed. Ta'Shon's pain rapidly worsened and she visited the clinic about 10 more times over several months before her lung collapsed and she was airlifted to a children's hospital in Denver. There she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, confirming the suspicions of family members.

A few weeks later, a charity sent the whole family to Disney World so Ta'Shon could see Cinderella's Castle, her biggest dream. She never got to see the castle, though. She died in her hotel bed soon after the family arrived in Florida.

"Maybe it would have been treatable," says her great-aunt, Ada White, as she stoically recounts the last few months of Ta'Shon's short life. Stephanie Little Light cries as she recalls how she once forced her daughter to walk when she was in pain because the doctors told her it was all in the little girl's head.
Ta'Shon's story is not unique in the Indian Health Service system, which serves almost 2 million American Indians in 35 states.

On some reservations, the oft-quoted refrain is "don't get sick after June," when the federal dollars run out. It's a sick joke, and a sad one, because it's sometimes true, especially on the poorest reservations where residents cannot afford health insurance. Officials say they have about half of what they need to operate, and patients know they must be dying or about to lose a limb to get serious care.

Wealthier tribes can supplement the federal health service budget with their own money. But poorer tribes, often those on the most remote reservations, far away from city hospitals, are stuck with grossly substandard care. The agency itself describes a "rationed health care system."

Michelle Malkin with the terrifying and truly sickening facts and numbers of socialised governement er, "healthcare:"
“In 1966, the Office of Management and Budget put the total taxpayer costs for Medicare at $64 million. In 2011, Medicare costs are expected to balloon to nearly $500 billion. Medicaid cost $770 million in 1966. By 2011, that program will cost taxpayers an estimated $264 billion. The Virginia-based Council for Affordable Health Insurance estimated that the administrative expenses of both programs last decade were 66 percent higher than those of private sector health insurance companies.

And we ain't seen nothing yet. House Republicans on the Joint Economic Committee sifted through their opponents' 1,018-page health care bill and released a dizzying flow chart detailing the Byzantine bureaucracy Obamacare would create. Washington would become the home of at least 31 new federal programs, agencies and commissions to oversee the government-run health insurance regime.

Because 32 "czars" isn't enough, the Democratic plan would add another overlord to the Obama administration.”

David Harsanyi at townhall:

“If government-run health care holds such wondrous possibilities for the nation, why don't we all "invest" in this magical cure? Why only the rich?

President Barack Obama once promised to spread the wealth. How about spreading the responsibility, as well? Let the everyday citizen feel the cost of these gazillion-dollar legislative miracles.

The House's plan for health care reform is a good start. If passed, it would begin levying an extra tax on families earning $350,000 or more -- for the benefit of society, of course. We can do better. Much better. Don't misunderstand me; detesting the rich is an enormously rewarding pastime -- those sleazy pinstripe-sportin', carbon-spewin' degenerates.

So it's no surprise that according to a new USA Today/Gallup poll, the majority of us support increasing income taxes on the wealthy to pay off the gargantuan cost of health care "reform." The number is sure to ratchet up in the future. As Myron Magnet at the Manhattan Institute recently pointed out, in New York City only 1.2 percent of the taxpayers will pay 50 percent of the income taxes, while half the households will pay no income tax at all.

The tax base is shrinking nationally. In the United States, the top 20 percent of earners pay 70 percent of all federal taxes. For many, there is no risk in supporting pricey Utopian experiments in Washington. The other half pays. Certainly, this brand of governance offers little in the way of the celebrated "sacrifice" the president keeps going on about.

..The nonpartisan Tax Foundation's new study claims that the health care reform surtax would mean that 39 states would end up with a top-tier tax rate of more than 50 percent, a surefire way to kick in stagnation.”

Mark Steyn on how the end of everything is riding into town on a socialsied gelding.
“...in their own poignant way, the mustangs are almost too apt a symbol of where we're all headed. The Old West has been succeeded by the new California, in which a bloated government bureaucracy rides herd on the ever more emaciated workhorses of the private sector. And as California goes – and it's going, going, gone – so goes the nation.

There aren't enough of us to pay for all this – for government health care, government banks, government mortgages, government automobiles, government horses, government burros, for cap-and-trade, for stimulating phony-baloney nonjobs like Deputy Executive Associated Assistant Stimulus Resources Manager on the Stimulus Co-ordination & Compliance Commission. The wealthiest 1 percent already pay 40 percent of all taxes, the top 10 percent pay 70 percent of taxes – and there simply are too few of them – or, more to the point, of you: You'll be surprised what percentage of you fall into "the top 2 percent" by the time Obama is through with you.

This isn't merely Swedenization. As that insouciant 19-million acre annexation suggests, when America Swedenizes, it does it on supersized scale. The salient point of that 1,200-page cap-and-trade monstrosity was that, in its final form, it was so huge that at the time the House voted it into law there was no written version of the bill, because Congressional typists were unable to type as fast as Congress can spend: They're legislating on such a scale that the poor bleeding typing fingers of the House stenographers can't keep up.

Which means you can't keep up the payments on it all. If you've got a small business, you're wasting your time. You're going to be taxed and regulated into the ground because you're the designated sucker. Tell your kids to forget about the private sector and sign up with the Equine Census Bureau: Jobs for life, early retirement. Government is where it's at. When in ROAM do as the ROAMens do.”

marc960 wrote: "If Steyn hasn't won a Pulitzer or Emmy or maybe a Nobel by now it surely is not his fault. This commentary is so right on and informative as to be fearful. They say the best humor has a grain of truth to it as it gives legitimacy to the situation. This piece is legit all right.

The last income numbers I have seen from the IRS give the tax levels for 2006. Just so folks can understand how low the income has to be to put you into Obama's sights consider this. (Adjusted Gross Income numbers)

If you make over $109,000 you are in the top 10%.
If you make over $154,000 you are in the top 5%.
If you make over $339,000 you are in the top 1%.
These three columns pay 71% of all the Federal income taxes. Who says "the rich" are paying their "fair share"?

whaack wrote: "Surely western civilization has run its course.

A few years back the students and faculty at Stanford University protested the curriculum of their humanities program. In those protest students repeatedly chanting:

Well their wish has come true...and not just at Stanford. The postmodern mindset has advanced too far and I am afraid there is no turning back the clock."

I would have personally used Hannity or Michelle Malkin, though. Labeling everyone with a conservative point of view as a "Limblah" is too simplistic for some not as nuanced as us to comprehend."

floridabob wrote: "Pithy distillation of our current ethic..i.e., "wild horses" can't remain wild..they must be "managed". Similarly, our wild economy, which, relatively unmanaged, produced the most prosperous population in history, must now be "managed" because a few parts are creaking. This unbounded faith in government to "manage" is baffling. Someday a majority of the country will realize that government is just persons like you, or I, with a checkbook full of someone else's money...and without the hard decisions about how to spend it. The fact that so few contribute to that account doesn't bode well."

Mark Steyn on the phony rebellion of left liberal er, artistes and Canadian style pre-Obamacare:
“When government prioritizes security, it does so at the cost of satisfaction. The “funny creative people,” repellent as they often are, are a good early indicator: in such a society, as Murray says, “the concept of greatness is irritating and threatening.” Where is the great European art? I don’t mean the Renaissance, but just the occasional glimmer of a movie scene as lively as France and Italy’s a couple of generations back. In a sense, it becomes impossible: if you take, say, a 19th-century social novel, a girl goes to a ball and accepts a dance from a certain man, and her life changes forever.

There are choices and consequences. But, if the government makes all the choices and absolves you of all the consequences, what’s to write about? When life is drained of life, what art can you make of it?

For me, health care is a moral issue, and even a spiritual one.
Not just because I don’t want to be in the bathroom 12 times a night for three years. But because conceding the bureaucracy’s jurisdiction over your urinary tract is a near parodic example of what Colby Cosh calls a culture of “risk-averseness” and “deference to authority,” part of the remorseless surrender of individual liberty to government security across this last half-century. It’s not about the state of your health, but about the health of your state.”
“a widely cited CMAJ study in 2006 confirms the following:

"In 2006, 1 in 9 Canadian-educated physicians practiced in the United States."

"This accounts for just over half of the net loss of physicians from the Canadian-trained physician workforce."

"Collectively, this is equivalent to having 2 average-sized Canadian medical schools dedicated to producing physicians for the United States."

"Canada is the second largest source of immigrant physicians to the United States, second only to India."

And. importantly: "The migration of US-trained physicians to work in Canada, only 400-500 physicians, is miniscule in comparison; this was substantiated by another recent study using similar data sources."

My God Colonel your posts get funnier by the month.

Ronald Reagan, now there's a POTUS to even make George Bush look like a genius.

Reagan, affectionately known as the "Gipper" what a star, the pathological liar in chief.

Is this the same Reagan who helped liberate the Nazi concentration camps in his own mind? The same Reagan who lied about the Iran Contra affair? And who could forget, the very same Reagan who said P.W. Botha's regime had already eliminated the segregation in the good ol U.S. of A.

Saturday night live just couldn't get enough parody out of this moron.

Ah!How I love conservative revisionist's,let me count the ways.

You are indeed funnier than a barrel full of monkeys Colonel.
