Pt 3. One in three children have been so indoctrinated that they believe the world will end within their lifetime due to global warming.

The very swingin' How The World Works.

Gee, how did all that indoctrination happen? Oh yeah, I think it may be the overwhelming dominance of left ideology. Check. Do you know that in Australian government schools, “sustainability”, the meaningless all purpose feel good Marxist front group buzz word and environmentalism etc, is now an actual curriculum subject and there’s nothing you can do about it.

They bring in seemingly unqualified and apparently unknown leftards to preach at the kids. This qualifies as discussion and insight. Number of counterpoint the fundamental scientific method of scepticism to date: zero. Go figure. So "official" child abuse and lying to children is OK if it's the good Marxist left liberal lies and indoctriantion? Got it. The current truth.

And the essential F. Hayek The Road To Serfdom.

Meanwhile the number one book for the last month on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, on the NYT’s bestseller list for three weeks and all over the Internet, goes unmentioned because it’s an empirical conservative book called Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin. Ah, look at the saddening junk of much of the Australian mainstream and public media and laugh, weep or let it die a natural death.

I was a teenage Communist Phillip Adams has run his Melbourne LNL radio show for over twenty years at 3 to 2% listening or less and is never fired. Why? Cos it’s an ABCTV taxpayer funded all in agreement affluent leftard Socialist show. I used to love LNL and Phil’s urbane, witty schtick and listened for decades.

That was until I read P.J O’Rourke, Mark Steyn, almost grew up and got the Internet and the books I wanted and realised how wrong I can be. Sad, but now I just can’t listen to Phil at all. It may just be his disingenuous to plain stupid lies and delusions, as he repetitively glib riffs with his stale mutual agreement puppet regulars. Go figure. The ABC makes little to no serious effort to counterpoint the affluent left ideology of Adams and the ABC in general, except ironically for a great and worthy one hour weekly show called Counterpoint.

The wonderfully uplifting Steven Crowder hits a home run for Jefferson, the Constitution, Judeo Christianity, freedom, heritage, moral truths and sends ACLU pipe smokers to the bleachers. Lift me Steve baby!

The Peoples Cube: "free indoctrination by members of Teachers Union, Al Gore's children receive carbon credits for Winter Solstice Holiday...indoctrinating their children, and limiting their free speech. .....Earth Day: save the planet, starve the children! ... Al Gore sterilizes self to protect planet: 'Having children is selfish."

In a competitive and open media environment and without government backing, left liberal media does badly or dies almost by default. Thus they want the control freakery fraud of the “Fairness Doctrine” via government enforcement. Delightful.

Now dig this: “The air seems a little cleaner in the nation’s capitol today. Lib talk radio is dead in the District of Columbia.

WWRC-AM had marketed itself as “Obama 1260,” proving that the FCC doesn’t consider stupidity to be sufficient grounds for revocation of a broadcast license. The station has now flipped to a business talk/news format.

Losing affiliates is nothing new for Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Bill Press, Ron Reagan, Rachel Maddow and Lionel. But the loss of the Washington, DC market is a particularly harsh blow for liberal talk radio, because the format is rapidly running out off major markets in which it can be dumped.

Miller, often referred to as the rising star of libtalk, has lost market after market and now retains affiliates in just 11 of the top 50 markets. Like many lib talk stations, WWRC ranked dead last in the Washington, DC ratings, 30th out of 30 stations.

As of today, Miller, Schultz, Press, Reagan, Maddow and Lionel are on the street, where they will presumably organize protests and carry picket signs calling for the re-introduction of the Fairness Doctrine.”

Pemanently sub-par leftie with a total of 12 poorly rating affiliates, hates Rush Limbaugh with his 600 stations and up to 25 million listeners. Leftard thus want’s Rush to “die.” Ah, diversity, love and tolerance.

The number of media people singled out by President Bush was zero, but not so for Obama: Number One on your smiley Feuhrer dial.

“President Obama warned Republicans to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with his administration.

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he said to Republican leaders attending a White House meeting to discuss his bloated $1 trillion economic stimulus package. Too many people listen to Rush, the new president thought to himself. After we’re done redistributing everyone’s income, we’ll start redistributing Limbaugh’s radio listeners.”

Rush Limbaugh destroys the opposition for good reasons. Thus the left ad hominem Rush and his massive audience. All minimum of 14 million to a maximum of 25 million of them...“Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity seem to leave all the other talkers in the radio ratings dust. And although Limbaugh’s lead over Hannity appears slim at first glance, deeper analysis shows that Rush leaves Hannity in the dust, too.

Talkers Magazine says Limbaugh has “a minimum” of 14.75 million listeners who tune in at least once per week. Hannity comes in a close second with 13.75 million. Limbaugh’s achievement is even more remarkable than it may seem because Hannity’s potential audience is much larger than Limbaugh’s.

Gee, in the free marketplace... "The left liberal media audience are reversing while the conservative and libertarian are growing."

What a pro-team! Watch Olbermann and Garafalo kill CNN!

Via hotair: Left lib blogger and Kos staff member joke on Kos/Twitter about the triple murder of Police offices and says “conservatives apparently, prefer to talk “revolution” and kill cops.” Riiight, sure they do.

“Dana Houle is a Daily Kos frontpager, not some tinfoil diarist, and Markos is the public face of the liberal blogosphere. Granted, his influence isn’t what it used to be, but he is still the most recognizable, the most closely-associated liberal blogger out there.”

With his doctrinaire casualness, The Obamamessiah breaks centuries of Constitional Law regarding the judiciary, as you do.

“JUDICIAL dispassion - the ability to decide cases without being influenced by personal feelings or political preferences - is indispensable to the rule of law. So indispensable, in fact, that the one-sentence judicial oath required of every federal judge and justice contains no fewer than three expressions of it: "I . . . do solemnly swear that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me . . . under the Constitution and laws of the United States, so help me God."

"Without judicial restraint there is no rule of law. We live under "a government of laws and not of men" only so long as judges stick to neutrally resolving the disputes before them, applying the law, and upholding the Constitution even when doing so leads to results they personally dislike. That is why the judicial oath is so adamant about impartiality. That is why Lady Justice is so frequently depicted - as on the sculpted lampposts outside the US Supreme Court - wearing a blindfold and carrying balanced scales.

...such cardiac justice is precisely what judges "do solemnly swear" to renounce. Sympathy for others is an admirable virtue. But a judge's private commiserations are not relevant to the law he is expected to apply.

If Obama means what he says, he wants judges who will violate their oath of office.
"We need somebody who's got the heart - the empathy - to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom," he told a Planned Parenthood conference in 2007. "The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old. And that's the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges."

With such criteria, what would remain of the rule of law? What would happen to "Equal Justice Under Law," which is carved above the Supreme Court's entrance? What would be left of the 14th Amendment's guarantee of "equal protection of the laws" to every citizen?

Lady Justice wears a blindfold not because she has no empathy for certain litigants or groups of people, but because there is no role for such empathy in a courtroom.”

Andy Bolt on licence to tell warming lies.

Hanoi Jane ex and uber-rich left liberal media tycoon Ted Turner says, “We do have the example of China, [for birth control!] and they’ve done it without, uh, draconian, as far as I can see, draconian steps.” No really:

Via therightscoop: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard Ted Turner (on the Diane Rehm Show) cite China as a good example of population control. As far back as I can remember, I have always heard that china would take or kill any children you had after having one child. Well, it is true, but nowadays it is more in the form of forced abortions. It doesn’t take much to find articles citing women who have been dragged to a facility where the chinese government forcibly aborted their child. Just google it.”

“Liang describes how they told her that she would have to have an abortion, "You don't have any more room for manouver," he says they told her. "If you don't go [to the hospital], we'll carry you." The couple was then driven to Youjiang district maternity hospital in Baise city.

"I was scared," Wei told NPR. "The hospital was full of women who'd been brought in forcibly. There wasn't a single spare bed. The family planning people said forced abortions and forced sterilizations were both being carried out. We saw women being pulled in one by one."

The couple was given a consent agreement to sign. When Liang refused, family planning officials signed it for him. He and his wife are devout Christians — he is a pastor — and they don't agree with abortion.

The officials gave Wei three injections in the lower abdomen. Contractions started the next afternoon, and continued for almost 16 hours. Her child was stillborn.

"I asked the doctor if it was a boy or girl," Wei said. "The doctor said it was a boy. My friends who were beside me said the baby's body was completely black. I felt desolate, so I didn't look up to see the baby."

Medical sources say fetuses aborted in this manner would have been dead for some time, so the tissue is necrotic and thus dark in color. "The nurses dealt with the body like it was rubbish," Wei said. "They wrapped it up in a black plastic bag and threw it in the trash."

The useless veanl phony Howard Dean via ihatethemedia.

“Our ears perked up and then we heard one of the most honest lines ever to come out of the mouth of a liberal lawmaker yet. ‘Remember when the media jumped all over McCain and Palin during the election for suggesting the left and Obama were socialistic? Well...’

Here’s what he said (minute 5:00):

“I think we’ve had quite enough capitalism in the last eight years.”

Enough for you and I but not for him. Check. Nuance. The hyper disingenuous, disgusting Democrat and high pitch screamer Howard Dean. “Obama has clearly been good for the country.”

Colonel Neville: Riiight, but which one?

I too wa a bit of a Phillip Adams fan, though I preferred his writing in 'The Age'. Then I began to read more widely and actually started to think about things and what happened? Well I realise that I know almost nothing but what I do know is real, Phil and his mates want to construct a world in their own image rather than make the best of human nature as it is. Anyway I don't know if you listen to podcasts but if you have the time have a listen to Russ Roberts at Econtalk it's changed the way I think even more.
